Zone Championships

Outer West Met Zone Championships 2024/25

13th, 14th & 15th December

** ZONE ENTRIES – OPEN FOR SUBMISSION **

No submissions or changes can be made after closure date as they are all submitted to Zone and final, so please ensure you are selecting the right event for your child.

Normal Saturday competition will NOT be held at Saunders Oval – due to the bulk of athletes and officials being present at Zone Championships.

The Outer West Met Zone Championships are to be held at Harold Corr Oval, Werrington Lakes, 32 Herbert St, Cambridge Park on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th December & Sunday 15th December 2024, where your child will be representing Colyton St Clair LAC.

Some important things to know for this weekend are: our club will have an area set up with tents, If your child is in a field event you are expected to offer help, please plan to be at the field 45mins prior to your time slot, ensure that your athletes uniform is correct with all numbers and patches in the correct position, If you do have a problem please approach a committee member for help.

Zone Championships are conducted in each of the 24 zones throughout the State.  Athletes in the age groups U8 through to U17 are eligible for this event.  Colyton St Clair athletes will be competing against other clubs in our zone – which include: Nepean LAC, Emu Plains LAC, Cranebrook LAC, Penrith Valley LAC and Werrington LAC

The top 4 athletes (places) from each final at Zone, will progress to the Regional Championships and compete at Blacktown International Sports park, Rooty Hill – on 7, 8 & 9 February, 2025.

Athletes will then be representing our Nepean Zone. Your child will also be presented with a Colyton St Clair Regional Representative shirt.
Should the Regional Athlete make it through to State Championships (Sydney Olympic Athletics Centre – Homebush) in MARCH 2025 (TBC), he/she must be made available for all events.
