????Key information for families and Athletes attending the Coles Regional Championships this weekend.
???? Athletes are expected to report to track marshalling 20 minutes prior to the start time and field marshalling 30 minutes prior.
???? Track marshalling is located at the northern end near the 100m start, while field marshalling is on the western side near the 100m start.
???? The first field events of the day should go straight to their respective field events.
???? Athletes must not leave the fenced area during an event without permission from the appropriate referee.
???? Parents may be asked to volunteer at their child’s event, it’s encouraged from our club to help out when needed, and its also the best spot to watch your child compete.
???? All athletes must compete in their Colyton/St Clair uniform with bib number, age patch and Coles patch on display. All athletes will have their uniform checked at the marshalling area.
???? Mobile phones or smart watches are not permitted in the competition area, except for smart watches during a race.
???? Marquees can be set up from 4pm on the Friday around the western side of the track.
???? Parents are not permitted inside the fenced area of the track unless volunteering.
???? Approaching officials or athletes while they are inside the competition area may result in the athlete receiving a disqualification.
???? Medals will be presented during the day, and if an athlete is unable to attend their presentation, team managers can collect the medals at the end of the day.
???? 1st and 2nd place will automatically qualify through to State Championships, then its the next best 8 across all regions who will qualify through to State.
